VOLUME 10—ISSUE 1 69 THE ORIGINAL RELOCATION GUIDE — UPSTATE SC | VOLUME 11 — ISSUE 1 EDUCATION Accredited by: SAIS/AdvancED/SACS North Greenville University is nestled in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of the Upstate. Affliated with and committed to the South Carolina Baptist Convention, North Greenville is a co-ed liberal arts institution that provides opportunities for higher education in a Christian atmosphere. Having a resident population of over 1,500 students, the university seeks to help students become contributing members of society by educating the whole person through a program of academic discipline, a Christian lifestyle, and an enriched cultural experience. North Greenville presents distinctive and innovative programs that attract and meet the needs of non-traditional students and achieves high academic standards by employing qualifed professionals. The school aims to provide an environment in which students can reach their fullest potential by developing intellectually, physically, socially, culturally, morally, and spiritually. Being a smaller school also allows for students to create a special sense of community through the development of close relationships and the nurturing efforts of a caring and Christian faculty, staff and administration. Also located in Greenville, Webster University is designed with the working person in mind. The university educates adults who are returning to school to complete a Bachelor's degree or obtain a Master's degree in any of the Counseling, Business or Human Resource programs it offers. In addition to the fact that evening classes are taught by academically qualifed faculty who are practitioners in their felds, small class sizes are also part of the appeal of Webster. []
