The three- story Raleigh Beer Garden was awarded two Guinness World Records in 2015 for both the most varieties of draft beer on tap (369), and the most beer brands – or breweries – on tap in one place (203). Set to open in the spring 2017, Watts & Ward is a 6,000 square-foot speakeasy style craft cocktail bar located under the historic Montague Building on Moore Square. Education is touted as much as the artistic energy in Raleigh. NCSU is also known nationally for its engineering program. The Research Triangle Region is an education Mecca for the state with more than 167,000 students enrolled in its 12 universities/colleges. The number of college degrees awarded in Raleigh and the Triangle region is higher than both the state and nation. Umstead State Park. 2016 marked the centennial birthday of national parks and highlighted outdoor resources across the U.S. Raleigh's William B. Umstead State Park topped all 39 state parks and recreation areas in North Carolina with a 2016 attendance of 1.84 million. It marked a 38 percent increase over 2015 and was among the six state park entities that logged more than one million visitors. The other state park units that surpassed the one million mark include state recreation areas, Falls Lake, located in Wake County. Shopping fans have multiple retail venues to explore with traditional malls such as Crabtree Valley Mall to boutique stores in upscale North Hills. Cameron Village is a longtime favorite neighborhood destination for shoppers and diners dating to 1949.
